For OneVentures our commitment to an investee company is not just financial. Our team’s contribution extends well beyond board participation delivering industry knowledge; help with strategic direction, market & product development; building distribution networks; providing access to business mentors and offering ongoing support for the entrepreneur.

With an active involvement from day one, the OneVentures team is always there to advise especially when it comes to making the difficult decisions such as, company management, contract negotiations, market positioning, future funding rounds, and exit opportunities.

The OneVentures approach encourages teamwork and fosters communication in the pursuit of success. At a minimum, the OneVentures team will provide input to investments in the following ways:

Regular meetings: OneVentures intend to meet weekly with the CEO/Management team to provide guidance and support.

Strategic Planning: supporting the Investee Company’s management team during strategic planning including the development of product and operational plans, sales and marketing plans, revenue and financial models, selection of key business partners and development of annual business plans with financial projections.  In particular, the OneVentures team will also focus on any future financing needs and prospective exit opportunities.

Attending Sales Meetings: At least in the initial phase to establish market acceptance of products and services and help with deal closure skills

Monthly Reporting: attendance at monthly board meetings to provide guidance to management as well as monitoring and reporting back to the OneVentures Innovation Fund.

Recruitment: help in the identification of new key role requirements within the organisation, and interviewing of new members of the investees management team.

Fund Raising: help in the preparation of memoranda and negotiations with suppliers of debt, providers of government grants, and subsequent equity investors.

Networks: Support our investee companies establish and build their partner relationships.

Exit Strategy: the OneVentures team work with the investee to arrange the most advantageous exit for the business ranging from public listing, trade sale, or releveraging.
