OneVentures seeks emerging Australian technology companies with true breakout potential; companies with differentiated technology and compelling business models. The Fund will endeavour to earn a superior return by deploying the substantial experience of its management team in making, building and realising seed, early and expansion stage venture capital investments in the CleanTech (approx 50%), Information Technology (approx 25%) and Life Sciences (approx 25%) sectors. The Manager will seek to invest in portfolio investee companies which are globally scalable, high growth, address large markets, have strong competitive advantages, clear IP ownership, proven entrepreneurial management teams and the potential to generate high free cash flow.
As advocates for matching the best of Australian R&D with the best international opportunities for commercialisation, value generation, cross-border funding syndication and investment exit, a strategic investment priority will be to explore the potential for each investee company candidate, where appropriate, to ultimately migrate part or all of their business off-shore.
